Reports to LATAM Operations Director, Global Service Parts, being responsible for managing strategic and operational LATAM repair operations including cross functional coordination with different teams such as Test engineers, SQE's, Reverse logistics, NPI/ECO, inbound Logistics, Planning. long-range plans, repair supply chain optimization, customer experience, innovation, new repair implementation enablement and for building supplier relationships for several commodities. Responsible for aligning, setting and achieving performance goals/metrics to improve total delivered/lifecycle commodity cost, quality and continuity of supply. Responsible for managing repair plan initiatives and process improvements, accountable for cost forecasting and operational performance across commodities.

Responsabilidades da Função:

Main contact with parts planning team, LA representative in the Americas Planning Spend Review. Accountable and/or responsible for leading Repair commodity team. Present Monthly Operations Reviews and drive improvements in key commodity metrics of: a) Repair lead-time b) Cost c) Repair yields d) Supplier Performance e) Cost benefit analysis f) DSI g) Project implementation progress vs. goals. Drive cross-functional strategic/operational Repair teams to: a) Establishing priorities and deliverables of: a) Repair Strategy / tactical development that drives Dell towards a competitive advantage in the market place in specific areas such as: Repair Availability/Capacity, Cost, Quality and Technology. b) Quality Plan by Supplier to achieve specific Repeat Return quality goals. c) Supplier and Commodity Roadmaps. d) Hold Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with suppliers e) Relationship management. Drive Development and implementation of tools and processes to improve Repair management practices, and share that learning with other groups – Benchmarking and Best Practices Sharing with Global Peers Support Corporate, LOB and Procurement initiatives and exercises as required. May lead Repair strategy/tactical development – Repair Governance Accountable for improving repair supplier performance, readiness, development. Responsible for key component strategy/Repair management.

Requisites:

  • 8-10 years of related experience with 4-8 years of management experience
  • PMP, ITIL or equivalent
  • Strong Computers, Telecom and/or IT Hardware related background
  • Proven record of developing, implementing and sustaining Supply Chain solutions in Brazil and rest of Latin America
  • Expert ability to design and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proactive and good communicator
  • Can work and manage agenda independently
  • Works well in a team and can cross functionally engage in a busy environment
  • Regular external vendor visits and interaction
  • Strong ability to manage 3rd party partners for managing the customer delivery process.
  • Strong analytical, Governance and problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of financial mechanism
  • Lean/Six Sigma skills or certification preferred
  • Fluent English and Spanish preferred
  • Graduate degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Production/Manufacturing, Computing) and relevant experience

    Prós: Empresa com muitos benefícios. Muitos programas de benefícios para funcionários. Permite um bom desenvolvimento de carreira e uma boa perspectiva de crescimento. Mas depende da área.

    Contras: Muito burocrática. Para participar de processos seletivos e/ou oportunidades as vezes é bastante complicado. Algumas áreas é difícil crescer. Precisa pensar mais a respeito disso.

    Prós: Ambiente, oportunidades de networking, contato com managers da empresa, refeitório da empresa, salas de reunião e de break além das massagens.

    Contras: Efetivação limitada para estagiários que não sejam da área de engenharia, até mesmo no time compras que normalmente são de pessoas com formação em humanas é completo por engenheiros. Outro ponto é o valor da bolsa auxilio, R$ 1.200,00 muito abaixo das empresas da região e também não há benefícios como VA/CM/CO e PLR, somente VT e ou Fretado e alimentação no restaurante.

    Conselhos para presidência: Melhorar o valor da bolsa e benefícios.

    Recomenda a empresa: Sim
