As an IT Application Management professional you will monitors and maintain applications and restore services for end users. Analyze software and hardware problems and coordinate workable solutions. Perform system software upgrades including planning and scheduling, coordination and deploying. Ensure availability and performance of systems and application environments through proactive as well as reactive analysis and maintenance.
Role e Responsibilities:
Manages, resolves and documents issues and events related to system and environment availability and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment on business matters;
Monitors and measures performance characteristics of applications and applies knowledge and understanding of customer needs and other internal/external contacts;
Communicates with all stakeholders (customers, development teams, end users, etc.) to address system issues;
Learns new applications, Dell-specific technologies, system behavior and business processes as they relates to customer needs;
Understands and applies principles, concepts, theories, technologies and standards of professional field that will improve the reliability and performance of the system;
Assists program or process development and implementation;
Applies research, information gathering and analytical and interpretation skills to problems of diverse scope;
Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate complexity, screens, categorizes, evaluates, reconciles, reports and resolves data integrity issues and interprets generally defined practices and methods;
Recognizes and acts on inconsistencies in data or results and offers more experienced system recommendations for defined business needs;
May set project timeframes and priorities based on project objectives and ongoing assignments and contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects or activities within own area;
Contributes to area by ensuring quality of output and assumes responsibility to improve service, efficiency and quality of work;
Establishes working relationships with others outside area of expertise and works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions.

Industry experience and experience in application management/application support roles in large global corporations;
Educational qualification Bachelors degree or undergraduate with relevant experience;
Very good communication skills and strong technical background in multiple technologies and architectures;
Experience in managing change and engaging team members and expertise in troubleshooting IT issues;
Manages medium complex projects, tied to application management/infrastructure area;
Technologies: Linux/Windows strong knowledge, Oracle databases, Oracle weblogic expertise and Oracle OSB and BPEL;
Preferences: Proactive mindset, incident management experience and monitoring tools knowledge
