You will be responsible for create models to help Operations Team on growth marketing actions. The bread and butter are simple things like Churn and LTV prediction, KPI forecasting, customer segmentation and comments classification. The really interesting parts start with models for city simulation and things we don’t even know are useful to us, but we expect you to know (or to find out). That means we expect you to develop a strong business understanding in a short time (3 months) together with strong technical skills.
Also, you will be responsible to leverage the team technical skills through whatever means you find suitable: workshops, hands-on, pair ~~programming~~ modelling, you name it.
You will be in touch with the Operations Team, we expect you to listen and propose sensible models and analysis to help them. Expect to have great autonomy, but also, great responsibility.
We expect you to:
Create machine learning models for regression and classification
Create simulation models (probably, but not limited to cellular automata)
Apply optimization techniques (constraint programming, simulated annealing, etc…)
Help the team to put your models in production
Get and clean your own data
