Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks

  • Independently demonstrates professional behavior and good time/self-management in relation to own workload and that of others.

  • Team Leader Responsibilities
  • Deliver high quality audits/opportunities
  • Conduct license audits on global account audits and support customers / sales
  • Maintain Master Data quality within the LAS systems. This also includes, but is not limited to, maintenance of comments, Locked contracts and License Auditor assignment.
  • Deliver and ensures high quality license audit evaluation by following the GLAS process (subject to country deviations)
  • Coaching and ensuring GLAS colleagues deliver same high quality
  • Comply with Standard SAP GLAS Processes
  • Experienced in relation to GLAS processes using SAP tools (BCP, ISP, USMM, LAW, CRM, LMBI & Reference Systems, if relevant to your role). Coaching and ensuring colleagues are also competent
  • Understand and incorporate process updates and changes
  • Take part in procedural and process improvements through collaboration with all relevant colleagues (Project Member or Project Lead)
  • Effective management of workload, using the tools provided, such as LAS cockpit, Outlook, CSS, Phone Calls and/or Skype for Business, etc.
  • All steps in the GLAS reminder timeline to be adhered to, where appropriate
  • Use the GLAS standard documents and templates, unless otherwise agreed with SAP SE.
  • Process all customer audit results received, in a timely, accurate manner
  • Identify issues on the process and propose solutions
  • Communicate effectively with customers and multiple SAP colleagues (GLAS colleagues, Sales, Local License Audit contact persons, Shared Service Contacts, Local Contacts) to deliver high quality service and support
  • Provide information sessions and presentations to relevant parties (SAP colleagues and customers), using relevant tools and templates
  • Support customers in conducting the license audit through the use of SAP measurement tools, discussing with other experienced colleagues when necessary
  • Support local license audit contact person to work on the KPI’s (Master Data, Cancelled/escalated Audits, License audit opportunities)
  • Answer all calls in a timely and professional manner, using voicemail appropriately.
  • Demonstrate operational excellence and flexibility
  • Independently demonstrates professional behavior and good time/self-management in relation to own workload and that of others.
  • Communicates holiday requests to manager / relevant colleagues and ensure substitution is in place
  • Keeps team leader/manager informed of own and others workload and provides possible solutions
  • Support an onsite audit at customer (if applicable)
  • Adherence to all SAP HR Policies (Global & Local)
  • Where Shifts are applicable, ensure appropriate handover of responsibilities in a timely manner
  • When applicable, substitute for the absent colleague, ensuring appropriate handover and follow-through on tasks
  • Take part in operational projects that lead to increased effectiveness, efficiency or engagement
  • Act as a role model to other colleagues with GLAS, in all aspects of your work
  • Other Tasks deemed necessary
  • Conduct training/mentoring for new GLAS Colleagues (if applicable)
  • Expert Responsibilities (USMM, LAW, Engine, SBOP BI - where applicable) – Additional Information available in GLAS Internal Document
  • Support and consult customers and GLAS team members on specific questions + issues related to their specific expert area
  • Perform knowledge transfer (internal staff, external customers + partners) training of new hires
  • Resolve known errors by means of SAP notes or BCP incidents
  • Work with SAP SE Contacts on specific customer and internal documentation
  • Solving and follow up of internal and external messages / active link between SC and AG)
  • Team Leader Responsibilities (where applicable)
  • Manage customer (internal/external)expectations in accordance with established SAP GLAS processes and procedures
  • Assist in license audit planning, evaluate license audit delivery for the countries responsible for and provide regular updates to the GLAS management
  • Engage and liaise with the local GLAS interfaces in the Market Units to support the license audit delivery
  • Participate in global projects within the GLAS, when required
  • People Management including Performance Management, Career Development and Employee Relations via regular one to one and team meetings
  • Capacity Planning and Resource Management within the team to ensure achievement of the license audit delivery targets
  • Motivate, and empower team members to ensure achievement of all individual and team KPI’s to high quality standards
  • Manage under performance through implementation of Performance Improvement Plans and engagement of Disciplinary Process where appropriate
  • Monitoring and driving effective communications within the Team and to and from Senior Management Team
  • Ongoing review of all operational processes and procedures, implementing improvement and measuring effectiveness in line with GLAS Standards
  • Lead/participate in projects delivering on key objectives defined by Management
  • Take ownership of issues escalated by team and customer to ensure timely and effective resolution

Experience & Educational Requirements
* At least 2 years as a Certified License Auditor (subject to proficiency)
* Language Requirements: Fluent in English and Portuguese
