Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for an IT Scrum Master to be part of
a fast-paced, innovative, and highly visible teams building web and mobile
software for our commercial and R&D lines of business. The position will be
located in São Jose dos Campos , SP.

This position is within the Application Services LDC (LATAM Development
Center) organization, which is focused on Technical Solutions Delivery,
Consulting and Software Engineering of Digital and Analytics as well SAP
solutions for Johnson & Johnson’s Operating Companies worldwide. This
individual will act as a Scrum Master.

Doing everything possible to deliver business value activation
Guiding the team and organization with Agile/Scrum practices and values
Guiding the team to self-organizing and fill in the intentional gaps left in
the Agile/Scrum framework
Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the
team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and
comfortable for the team and organization
Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the
right personnel to remove the impediment
Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without
fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis of healing and
problem solving
Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating
the work
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency,
and radiating information
Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to
grooming and maintaining the product backlog
Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever
possible, and leading by example


A Bachelor's degree is required; A Bachelor’s degree IT, business, or in
Computer Science is preferred.
Previous experience in IT working with Web, BI, Mobile, and internet
technologies is required, preferably in a large global organization.
Broad technical delivery experience is required.
First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I) is preferred
Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least 2 years for a software
development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and
theory is required
Good skills and knowledge= of servant leadership, facilitation, situational
awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and
increasing transparency is required
Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in
the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown
techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.) is required
Excellent communication in Portuguese and English and mentoring skills are
required (Spanish is a plus)
Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc. is
Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User
Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing,
Automated Testing, Agile Games is preferred
Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team is preferred
Previous experience as a team lead is highly preferred
Experience working with healthcare technology in the pharmaceutical industry
