•The Coordinator Commercial Excellence is responsible for developing and
implementing key strategic initiatives for the DACH (Germany, Austria,
Switzerland) Region that will optimize business operations.
•In charge of analyzing business performance of the commercial organization,
monitoring reimbursement changes and developing fact based strategy
recommendations to the Regional Director, Sales and Marketing Manager in order
to identify business opportunities and improve Sales Force efficiency.
•Analyzes key commercial processes and defines how to increase value to J&J
and customers by developing new commercial models. The incumbent coordinates
and drives rollout of global and regional initiatives working closely with
EMEA Commercial HQ.
•The incumbent defines and provides strong metrics on sales & marketing
efficacy, identifying opportunities for increasing efficiencies and will
provide visibility and accountability about the impact of the commercial
actions. The role will include development, maintenance and deployment of
reporting and analytic solutions. Additionally, will monitor the competitive
and market environment to capture opportunities and/or mitigate potential
•The incumbent will ensure functionality and effectiveness of DACH Sales
Support team (Headcount: 7) in the Ettlingen office.
•Demonstrates ability to embrace, represent and promote the Abbott Mission and
Culture within and outside the organization.
•Perform all activities according to Abbott Compliance guidelines & policies.
Displays personal and professional ethics.
•Office based position with willingness to travel up to 25% in DACH.
• Graduate in Business Administration, Health Care Management, Health
Economics or equivalent educational background in related sector
•2 years people leadership experience
•Ideally international exposure through education and work within an
international corporation preferred
•Commercial oriented personality with at least 3 years experience in advanced
commercial positions in medical device / health care industry, ideally in
oProven and advanced career track in direct Sales function dealing with
different customer segments in regulated markets, direct involvement in deal
modeling and negotiations
oSuccessfully demonstrated ability to develop, implement and execute market
oSuccessfully implemented Sales Force Efficiency / Customer Relationship
Systems – CRM
•Proficient in budgeting and P&L management as well as development of business
•Fundamental experience in market research and interaction with market
•Proven experience predicting markets trends and tailoring strategies and
tactics to drive for opportunities
•Ideally good understanding of reimbursement challenges/opportunities in
Health Care Industry and experience in external stakeholders relation /
•Proven track in change management and multi-stakeholder management and the
ability to drive complex cross-functional projects with a strategic approach
and call for action
•Track record of legal compliance
