Sales Controller

General

Guarantees full compliance with the Group Controlling guideline;

Promotes efficiency in Controlling in order to minimize time spent for report generation and increases time for analysis, commenting and insights sharing;

Supports the establishment of a true bottom up planning process and the development of a local planning calendar based on the group planning timetable allowing for sufficient review time and feedback cycles;

Ensure high forecasting accuracy of business plans, revised estimates and long term forecasts and guarantee the achievements of the targets;

Measures and reviews the cost/benefit ratio of proposed activities;

Builds a solid relationship with budget holders based on mutual respect and trust;

Is driven through a service mentality by sharing insights, by supporting budget reallocations, by ensuring overall budget adherence, by acting as a facilitator to achieve objectives, by highlighting risks and opportunities, by providing financial simulations and by developing business cases for new projects;

Manages fact and knowledge based, spreads and exchanges information;

Monthly and Close

Ensures master data quality and verifies the consistency of the customer and product.

Verifies the sales cut-off and correct revenue recognition.

Check and validate sales control (Margin Control) to release the investments;

Report and Analyses

Submit the Weekly Sales and Global Trade Sales report.

Calculate and explain customer and region mix impact on the total P&L.

Prepares reports on aggregated or on detailed level by GKA and LKA comparing the profitability YTD, comparing PY vs CY vs RE vs Year to Go.

Prepares and distributes Key Account reporting (Non CPM country: BER / AER structure).

Explain variances in NSV, Permanent Discounts, Trade Promotion, Sales Indirect (Ownership PL2, PL3, PL4).

Planning & Forecast

Support and challenges sales planning per key account and set customer.

Supports and challenges budget owners during the planning process.

  1. 7 years’ experience at finance (Business Controlling or Marketing and Sales Controller).

  2. In depth understanding of sales, promotional mechanics and the related financial impact;

  3. Good communication and presentation skills. Capable of communicating precisely and effectively with customers, internal clients and stakeholders up to GM level;

  4. Highly analytical and very skilled individual in the area of profitability analysis;

  5. Ability to quickly identify and analyze risks & impacts and able to define alternatives;

  6. A structured and well organized individual;

  7. Must be self-motivated, self-directed and be able to work under pressure in a fast paced team environment;

  8. Excellent /Advanced Office Package Excel (mandatory), Word and Power Point;

  • Graduation Business Administration, Economics, Accounting; MBA and/or Post Graduation in Finance/Controller, Strategic, Project Manager, etc. (Not Mandatory).
  • Fluent English language written and spoken

    Contras: Salário e benefícios acabam ficando abaixo da média do mercado, principalmente para quem constrói a carreira dentro da empresa por muito tempo em comparação com contratações de fora.

    Conselhos para presidência: Olhar com mais carinho para o comparativo entre as pessoas que constroem seu caminho dentro da empresa e pares que vieram de fora, em relação à benefícios.
