Reports directly to the quality control manager.
Mentors, trains and supervises the quality staff.
Evaluates performance and provides opportunities for growth.
Implements changes in analytical methods, tooling and equipment, space
allocations, workforce utilization, production schedules, lines and other
factors required to maintain or improve compliance with quality standards of
existing products and to establish initial and continuing compliance with
quality standards for new and/or redesigned products.
Communicates metrics and systems used to measure and guide improvements to
product and system quality and customer satisfaction to quality staff.
Provides input to quality control reports, requirements and other information
in response to requests for proposals, quotes and other business
Provides input to budget planning process.
Lead projects for improvements and utilizes cost control initiatives to reduce
Makes recommendations to management regarding ways to improve manufacturing
processes and increase product quality and delivery while reducing production
Investigates Lab Deviation and implements action for each root cause. Evaluate
performance of each action plan to reduce the number of Deviation.
A minimum of Bachelor degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology is required.
Requires at minimum 6 years related experience in Laboratories and/or Quality.
Advanced English is mandatory, Spanish is a differential
Management and Development of People is a differential
Post Graduation in Quality Engineering or People Management is desirable
Knowledge in Lean and/or 6 Sigma tools
