Mondelez International is looking for: Project Transportation optimized Planning Procurement Leader

Description

The holder of this position works very close to CS&L; team to support the development and execution of sourcing practices for Logistics. The key activities include interaction with cross functional stakeholders to manage spend and market analytics, generating insights from bid events, preparing supplier negotiation materials, supporting project execution and supplier relationship management, and driving controls and compliance

Responsibilities

  1. Assist Spend Area Manager with strategic planning and the execution of sourcing practices.

Set up requirements for data analysis, identify the right sources of information and sets up the channels to get the right information to the right person. Coordinate the analytics of internal and external data and e-sourcing support from the Sourcing Analyst Pool. Support development of negotiation strategies providing support during the supplier screening and supplier selection process.

  1. Execute end-to-end sourcing projects

  2. Assist and drive stakeholder alignment. Supports the stakeholder identification and Engages and ensures input from the stakeholders throughout the stage gate and sourcing process.

  3. Coordinate operational interfacing and interactions.

  4. Assist in supplier relationship.

  5. Support margin agenda and days payable outstanding for the global sub Spend Areas."

Qualifications

Academic Knowledge

Career experience and technical knowledge required for the position

Working Knowledge

Experience in the shopping area working with virtual times

Knowledge in logistics - Focused purchases: shipments, storage, etc.

Knowledge of the Strategic Sourcing methodology

Knowledge of purchasing processes and contract management and registration

Total cost Analysis and supplier evaluation (structuring of quantitative models)

Experience in managing indicators

Project Management experience

Knowledge of best practices in logistics and the Mondelez way of work **

Abilities

Advanced in English and Spanish (read and write)

Negotiation skills

Analytical skills including databases and Excel

Cultural Adaptation: Working between all functions dominating internal relationships

Confidence, creativity and communication skills at all organizational levels

High degree of empathy and understanding as well as the ability to impose authority and professionalism

Ability to influence others even without formal authority

Ability to relate to external vendors and handle multiple contacts

Focus and prioritization capability
