Role Summary/Purpose:

Responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. Project Planner drives owns the project schedule and tender and project execution schedules to maximize results, whilst delivering the project on time, within budget, in conformity with the contract and managing the customer expectations.

Essential Responsibilities:

Ensures project implementation as well as work packages and constraints are accurately integrated into project planning scenario. Responsible for monitoring progress and producing accurate projections of time and cost. Ensures other functions have access to accurate current reports and projections and relevant reports are available for the customer. Presents projects plans, risks and recommendations to senior business leaders.
* Key member of the project team providing schedule status to the PM (Project Manager);
* Work with the team to define the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and the WBS Dictionary;
* Develop tender schedules using the established tools and processes and challenges the team to ensure schedule risk is managed with a balance of competitive offering aligned to historical performance;
* Develops and maintains the single project schedule representing the entire project by integrating inputs from all functions, units and third parties contributing to the project;
* Ensure proper linkages in schedule to show all interdependencies between contributing parties and activities;
* Delivers a high-quality schedule aligned with global standards to ensure project is accurately represented;
* Maintains the entire project schedule updated obtaining inputs from all project contributors;
* Provides schedule analysis to determine project schedule risks and opportunities than works with project team members to drive risk mitigation strategies;
* Analyze and verify project critical path;
* Provides look ahead, backlog and future late reporting with prioritizations to clearly communicate potential and real risk and drive the project priorities;
* Provides regular status reporting with forecasting and analytics to project team members;
* Provides contractually required customer reporting and should be able to communicate directly with customers on scheduling matters;
* Aligns with cost controlling function to ensure clear alignment between cost and schedule to ensure accurate;
* Support change order analysis with schedule analytics and forecasts;
* Organize/lead timely Planning Reviews with project team, to share all schedules issues and define/validate mitigation plan;
* Support disputes and analysis of claims;
* Support Cash-in events evidence;
* Support the project team in the PMR (Project Margin Review) process, mainly to direct material line preparation;
* Prepare data to support customer reviews and audits;
* Vital for the planner to frequently and clearly communicate the project status to all project participants, especially PM. And escalate issues/risks to ensure properly addressed;

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor of science in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
* Significant experience in Project Planning;
* As part of a project team, significant experience in planning management;
* Application of planning control principles (WBS, critical path, progress, S curve, EVM);
* Application of planning tools (MS-project and/or Primavera);
* Strong oral and written communication skills;
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills;
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems;
* Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects;
* Established project management skills;
* Team spirit;
* Contribute to the decision making. Critical approach of data on hands;

Fluent Portuguese
