Program Manager, Product Partnerships

Facebook is seeking a Developer Programs Manager to help build and support our growing global developer community. You will source and manage relationships with institutions and developer communities in the region, online and offline. You are passionate about the power of Facebook's platform and products to help developers build, grow and monetize their businesses and love working to help grow and empower the local developer and startup ecosystem in LATAM. This is a full-time position located in São Paulo or Buenos Aires or in our Mexico City office.

Responsibilities

  • Help drive program strategy through partnerships with VC, Accelerators, etc.

  • Develop and execute the strategy for how to employ Platform Partnerships resources given the overall company initiatives

  • Build, develop, retain and motivate team while recruiting for new members and continually raising the bar for talent and capabilities

  • Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactively resolving business, technical, and policy issues and serving as an internal advocate

  • Work with a cross-functional team — e.g. Engineering, Product, Developer Support, Product Marketing, Policy and Communications — to develop, implement and deliver value-add initiatives for entrepreneurs, start-ups and developers

  • Manage multiple complex project deliverables for multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • Provide guidance to start-ups and entrepreneurs in defining, analyzing, and measuring of their business problems

  • Represent Facebook in external meetings with senior executives from other companies

Minimum Qualifications

  • Passion and knowledge for startups, developers and the business of innovation

  • 5+ years experience in a technical field (i.e., experience building or coding for apps) OR working closely with developers (i.e., product management, developer outreach, etc.)

  • Ability to travel in region / country 75%

  • Strong experience with developer networks and meet up ecosystem

  • Experience with reporting tools

  • Solid project / program management skills

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is required. Spanish is nice to have.

    Prós: Ótimos aprendizados, fácil comunicação entre os membros da equipe de desenvolvimento.. ambiente de alto padrão e agradável.. amigos dispostos a ajudar..

    Contras: Não há muitos pontos negativos em relação a empresa facebook, porém não tinha muito esforço na equipe... muitas pessoas não ajudavam quando precisava, e com isso fazia que tivesse um ambiente desagradável na equipe..

    Prós: Equipe integra, ambiente de trabalho 100% tranquilo e amigável. Liberdade de opinião, reuniões de pauta, planos de carreira com diversas possibilidades de crescimento dentro da empresa.

    Contras: Salário fixo e vr/va muito baixos. Treinamento insuficiente para preparar o colaborador antes de ir para a linha atender, exigências surreais para chances de primeiro emprego. Como exigir o inglês é espanhol fluentes e comprovados em cursos, logo fui desligada pois aprendi a falar as duas línguas sozinha, sem curso para provar.

    Conselhos para presidência: Conversa, tudo se resolve na base da boa e velha conversa.
