Product Marketing Manager, Watch (Latin America)

We're looking for a marketer who is passionate about the media landscape and marketing shows and entertainment content to consumers in Latin America. You will lead marketing creative development, promotions and campaigns for a suite of shows on Watch — Facebook's new destination for shows, sports, and other episodic video content — as well as strategy and execution of entertainment campaigns to drive viewership, engagement, and adoption of the Watch product.
The right person is a strategic and creative entertainment marketer who has managed agencies to develop promotional assets, has led innovative social campaigns, and has driven viewership and fan engagement with shows. This person brings innovation and audience insights to creative development but also excels in project management and can execute flawlessly and with a high quality bar. Most important, this person cares deeply about establishing Facebook as a top-of-mind place for consumers to watch and have a unique social experience with shows and keeps that at the forefront of marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Market new shows on Watch and drive results both for the shows and the Watch product.

  • Work with an agency to create positioning, identity, and core marketing assets like key art, trailers, and promos for new shows on Watch.

  • Develop, launch, and manage custom digital campaigns for Facebook shows, managing the entire lifecycle from creative ideation and delivery to pre-promotion to launch to ongoing viewer engagement, results analysis, and campaign optimization.

  • Develop promotional plans and integrated marketing moments for new shows on Watch, collaborating closely with development, PR, media strategy, and social teams.

  • Cultivate a strong relationship with our creative agency partners, helping inspire their best work and improving processes for feedback cycles and project management of deliverables.

  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative insights from research and analysis to inform positioning, creative assets, and campaigns.

  • Communicate with legal, policy, and partnerships team to clear assets for promotional use.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to map out deliverables and timelines, frame creative feedback to agency partners, schedule show kickoffs, and manage asset delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing at an entertainment platform or network

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Proven record of creativity and innovation in the social media space, especially on Facebook and Instagram, for entertainment and/or content driven brands

  • Experience in and demonstrated campaign performance across marketing channels, such as video, paid social, mobile, and rich media

  • Communication skills and experience communicating across functions (e.g., creative teams, legal, marketing, ops)

  • Experience managing agencies for daily work streams and creative deliverables as well as working with marketing cross-functional teams, including creative, research, analytics and media

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and fluid environment with the ability to adapt, spot issues early, and escalate

  • Consumer marketing experience in the consumer video landscape and drivers of consumer video consumption habits.

  • Creative and analytic mindset, putting forth execution within a measurable and data driven framework.

  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Brazilian Portuguese

  • Latin America regional experience

    Contras: Não há muitos pontos negativos em relação a empresa facebook, porém não tinha muito esforço na equipe... muitas pessoas não ajudavam quando precisava, e com isso fazia que tivesse um ambiente desagradável na equipe..

    Prós: Equipe integra, ambiente de trabalho 100% tranquilo e amigável. Liberdade de opinião, reuniões de pauta, planos de carreira com diversas possibilidades de crescimento dentro da empresa.

    Contras: Salário fixo e vr/va muito baixos. Treinamento insuficiente para preparar o colaborador antes de ir para a linha atender, exigências surreais para chances de primeiro emprego. Como exigir o inglês é espanhol fluentes e comprovados em cursos, logo fui desligada pois aprendi a falar as duas línguas sozinha, sem curso para provar.

    Conselhos para presidência: Conversa, tudo se resolve na base da boa e velha conversa.
