Role Summary/Purpose:
* GFO WIND Latam Installation/Commissioning Commercial Support is required to demonstrate accountability to support Commercial Discussions about Wind Installation and commissioning with in the pole by working within a matrix organization and coordinating with global teams;
* Will have responsibility to support commercial team of the Latin America Wind from the proposal phase through customer acceptance.

Essential Responsibilities:

The individual will be in charge of commercial support detailing Installation procedures, wind farm platform layouts, developing supplier of cranes and eletro-mechanical assembly, doing budgetary quotes for tendering phase, discussing construction strategy of Wind Farms, sequence of erection, definition of erection rate based on local capabilities and Wind turbine model, crane and manpower availability.The essential responsibilities are:
* Be responsible for the Regional Pole Wind Receiving/Installation & Commissioning operations from the proposal phase through customer acceptance;
* Act as the single point of Contact for Pole Management new opportunities to address project installation/receiving and commissioning strategy;
* Drive excellence in schedule, cost, quality and EHS;
* Provide the leadership and manage all regional commercial support for site. installation/commissioning working on an environment that builds teamwork, drive effective reporting, communications and facilitates success in compliance with all GE policies;
* Work with to the Global Field Operations – Latam America Pole Manager and ITO team to establish BOP and manning requirements on each new commercial proposal, assisting in developing a commissioning manning schedule;
* Utilize Six Sigma, process discipline and digitization tools to optimize regional site performance;
* Drive reduction for the overall project cost on GE specs via Process & Documentation;
* Support the ITO process to ensure all field operations inputs drive a quality, optimized and risk mitigated proposal;
* Responsible for installation/receiving site costing and site indirect for the ITO Sum OPS;
* Support Sub-Contractor final approval for the region in the Contractor Pre-Qualification Process;
* Support review of Project Sub-Contracts and evaluation for awards;
* Support Pre-Installation Meeting;
* Manage GE resource staffing needs, Mobilization and Project Close out in region and interface with segment;
* Reviews of project daily reports, issues and progress;
* Reduce overall project cost through process change and cost out items;
* Support Site OPS reviews with management for all projects in the pole;
* Reduce overall project cost through process change and cost out opportunities;
* Support implementation of all field operation processes;
* Support the timely Receiving/Installation & commissioning and completion of all projects;
* Ensure that all commissioning checklists are current and complete and inspections are completed and accurate;
* Recommends changes to commissioning guidelines;
* Document Receiving/Installation & commissioning lessons learn from sites;
* Support all Receiving/Installation & commissioning T/A issues and ESCLATE to management as needed;
* Support on all Receiving/Installation & commissioning technical information;
* Streamline the Receiving/Installation & commissioning processes, ensuring all commissioning milestones are completed on schedule;
* Drive punch list prior to COD of sites Regular travel to sites as required, to resolve issues and conduct audit on performance.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent degree) from an accredited university;
* 5 years field related experience in BOP, cranes, construction and commissioning of wind turbine equipment;
* Financial negotiations skills;
* Field related experience;
* Field experience in construction and commissioning power equipment;
* Experience in Field EHS and Quality Procedures;
* Experience managing in a matrix environment including setting expectations and managing objections;
* Demonstrated history of critical thinking/ strcutured problem solving& effective communication/ change;
* Experience with recording data and data analysis;
* Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English;
* Ability and willingness to travel globally, up to 60%;
* Have a valid driver’s license;
* Have a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally.

Desired Characteristics:
* Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills to create a vision, communicate and drive team to flawless cross segment from Commercial to Operation and commissioning to execute;
* Customer and partnering interface skills;
* A demonstrated history of turning reactive environment into proactive success;
* Solid Technical background and Technical Advisor/Supervisor experience;
* Prior experience in construction and commissioning of Power Generation and Balance of Plant Equipment;
* Ability and willingness to work within a matrix organization and team atmosphere;
* An unwavering positive disposition;
* Project/ Program management experience in a head quarters or other non field discipline;
* Technical knowledge on Mobile Cranes, Wind turbine transportation and installation;
* Basic Understanding of project controls, cycles, and logic as it relates to commissioning;
* Effective Communicator – works well in team environment;
* Strong process and workflow tool skills.
