Role Summary/Purpose:

The National Account Manager is responsible for managing the long-term success of GE’s relationship with assigned strategic accounts in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and GE Healthcare. This position is responsible for driving orders and sales growth through influencing the appropriate level of investments and increasing GEHC’s share of wallet.

Essential Responsibilities:
* The National Account Manager will build an executive business relationship with CXO level of executives to define and implement a 1-3 year plan
* The assigned accounts are typically very large, market leading, and highly strategic health systems, governments, large private/public chains, Group Purchasing Organizations, etc
* The National Account Manager is responsible for proactively developing and executing a One GE Healthcare Sales strategy that capitalizes on the strength of GE Healthcare’s broad portfolio of products, services and solutions and is expected to lead and secure large, strategic, cross-P&L customer purchases
* Build relationships, develop a business plan and strategy, and maximize business opportunitiesfor all GE Healthcare businesses and portfolio within allocated accounts. Represent OneGEHC and acts as a primary customer point of contact in the allocated accounts
* Provide on-going feedback to management, product teams, services and marketing
* Achieve sales, orders and margin targets for GEHC sales in assigned strategic accounts while managing costs within budget
* Leverage the Local Account Team, including Product Sales Specialists, Account Managers
* Service Operations, and other Company resources to provide the necessary technical, clinical andbusiness content to customers as needed
* Develop and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through consistent high quality interactions with customer management as well a detailed understanding of the business of the assigned accounts, including customers’ key initiatives and priorities, and keep GE Healthcare
* Product business leaders informed and appropriately involved
* Develop & implement Go–to-Market plans cross functional teams to achieve results through effective project proposals, negotiations, and contracts
* Grow GE’s share of customer investments in capital and operational expenditures
* Establish and enhance relationships at CXO level with account headquarters through responsive resolution of issues and addressing customer needs by integrating all appropriate GE Healthcare resources
* Build long term strategic alliance with the portfolio of accounts to continue to add value
* Follow all applicable GE policies, procedures and operating mechanisms
* Proactively participate in company initiatives depending on organizational needs and as directed by management)

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Education to Bachelor Degree level
* Experience in Business Management or Marketing/Sales
* Proven key account management and project planning skills
* Outstanding influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at alllevels
* Proven track record on relationship building skills and executive presence
* High level presentation skills; able to present ideas to customers in a way that producesunderstanding and impact
* Fluent in Portuguese and English languages
* Deep knowledge of GEHC and the products and services offered
* Healthcare experience in a commercial environment
* Direct and/or Indirect management experience; managing in a matrix organization

    Contras: Dependendo do setor onde trabalha, aprende muito sobre apenas seu cargo, e não muito sobre os outros setores. Fica só naquilo. Demissões constantes em época de crise. Como a empresa é muito grande, alguns processos são altamente burocráticos e há um pouco de desorganização. As mudanças de cultura GE demoram a chegar aqui, na prática. Para contratação, não basta apenas bom desempenho. Precisa que as pessoas gostem de você, podem colocar alguém no seu lugar por gostarem mais dele, mesmo você sendo melhor profissional.
