Monsanto is a global modern agriculture company. We develop products and tools to help farmers around the world grow crops while using energy, water, and land more efficiently.
Because of that, we look for a SA Licensing Strategy Coordinator who will be responsible for:
1.Coordinate Account Planning execution in Licensing:
1.1. Develop and execute the required activities to implement an account focused South America licensing organization, influencing stakeholders inside and outside the MPM area to gather the necessary support and resources.
1.2. Provide the governance framework that will enable this transformation, and guarantee a flawless execution of the governance, with strong organization and discipline, while ensuring a high level of engagement of all people involved.
2. Define and control the service level provided for different licensees segments:
2.1. Work in partnership with other areas within the MPM organization to deliver a robust segmentation strategy for South America, considering there are: 1) different account profiles, 2) different regional presence (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile), and 3) different crops (Corn, Soybeans and Cotton).
2.2. Define the minimum service level for each licensee group, and engage people across the organization to provide and excellent service for our licensees. Track and improve licensee satisfaction.
2.3. Control the execution of all activities that are directly related to the experience our accounts have with Monsanto, providing the organization with reports and controls that gives full visibility of our efficiency.
3. Develop mid and long term plans based on deep account knowledge:
3.1. Create tools and mechanisms that will enable the licensing team to have a top-notch knowledge of their accounts / segments, that will ultimately support the teams in key business decisions.
3.2. Translate in-depth account knowledge into mid and long terms plans, that are fully aligned with long term view of both MON and licensees’ businesses. Work in partnership with the other teams to develop a robust and complementary strategy to our branded business.
4. Support Monsanto’s operational excellence strategy:
4.1. Work close with the Crop Operations leaders in South America to guarantee the excellence during the resolution of operational issues with the accounts.
4.2. Give visibility for all teams involved about all operational issues related to the licensees, and create tools to improve the resolution rate, speed and efficiency.
Graduate in Agriculture and/or Business Administration
Desirable MBA or Specialization in Business
Strong organizational skills, excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to build and implement long term strategic research plans.
Ability to work effectively with teams and to influence cross functional teams.
Discipline and organization in order to drive multi-functional teams to execute complex tasks.
Customer relationship management knowledge and experience
3-5 years of relevant work experience creating and implementing commercial strategy within complex customers.
Excellent verbal and written skills as well as proven ability to perform deep analysis of team requirements and develop well-written documents and presentations.
