We are looking for an exceptional Marketing Manager with proven experience in subscription marketing to develop innovative, highly visible and successful marketing campaigns for the App Store, Apple Music and iTunes in Brazil. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional with experience in both the entertainment and app categories. Candidate must bring an insatiable appetite for media and entertainment and extensive knowledge of the marketing strategies and tactics used to build and grow successful digital entertainment businesses.
*+10 years of marketing experience in management roles;
*Sophisticated understanding of recurring revenue business models and subscription marketing;
*Strong experience in all aspects of marketing campaign execution, including messaging, creative direction, delivery and reporting;
*Self starter with experience creating marketing programs, products or campaigns to drive growth, retention and engagement;
*Design and facilitate marketing plans, budgets, targets, and campaigns – online, off-line, emails, A/B testing, PR, events, etc. – to increase subscriptions;
*Establish metrics to track the performance of the subscription service, set revenue and growth targets;
*Deep knowledge of freemium, subscription, premium, e-commerce, and ad supported app business models;
*Experience building internal and external relationships to inform and influence key marketing strategies and outcomes;
*A proven track record of accelerating conversion and identifying new conversion opportunities;
*Recent relevant experience in mobile marketing;
*Key account management experience with large media conglomerates and/or wireless carriers in Brazil;
*Experience driving massive impact in matrix structures using influence;
*Comfortable preparing and delivering executive level presentations to internal and external stakeholders;
*Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail;
*Confidence and expertise to push beyond the status quo and propose bold solutions;
*Clear thinker who is able to evaluate situations, distill concepts and propose solutions that advance the business forward.
The Marketing Manager for Brazil plays a vital role to create best in class marketing across the App Store, Apple Music and iTunes. Will work closely with labels, app developers, media conglomerates and wireless carriers to create best in class marketing campaigns across the App Store, Apple Music and iTunes.
In this role, the right candidate will:
* Create marketing programs and campaigns to drive growth, retention and engagement across our digital entertainment platforms;
* Establish strategic relationships with marketing partners including media organizations and brands;
* Lead external and internal marketing efforts directed at acquiring new subscribers, retaining existing ones and building the Apple Music brand;
* Manage the App Store’s biggest developer partners, helping to drive customers to the App Store through developer marketing channels, and the marketing mix;
* Build, nurture and deepen relationships with key App developers to enable creation of innovative co-marketing strategies, which drive engagement;
* Pursue our main goal: to surprise and delight our customers.
5+ years working in or directly managing retention and subscription of streaming entertainment platforms, mobile apps, e-commerce, online services, or dating sites;
Extensive marketing experience in senior management roles, covering multiple markets. This should include experience of negotiating and executing marketing partnerships;
Strong analytical skills with an ability to look at complex data and form actionable steps and initiatives;
Prior experience analyzing and using business intelligence methods for marketing campaigns;
Strategic and creative thinker who can balance short term operating needs with longer term strategic initiatives;
Experience within a global organization with international work experience;
Proven track record of working within a fast-paced environment;
Fantastic communication and presentation skills;
A thorough understanding of the digital content space;
A proven results-oriented project management track record;
A passion for apps and entertainment content.
