Materials Planning Manager

We are looking for a Materials Planning Manager in Caxias do Sul – RS.

She/He will be responsible for:
* Drives SIOP discipline in mastering customer demand signals, capacity and manning plans are turned into tangible site production and/or master production schedules;
* Ensures SIOP Model Plant Policy are followed: Measures via schedule attainment and maturity scores in centered area of logistic;
* Develop a profit plan forecast for following year and drives achievement during current year;
* Measures included DOH, Inventory, Cost Out, Supplier OTD and Supplier Quality metrics;
* Supports Customer Metrics like OTD, Forecast and Forecast Accuracy;
* Develops a core set of metrics for the site material and purchasing organization, Drives compliance via Tier Management Boards utilizing leading and lagging metrics aligning Profit and Strategic Plan Goals;
* Develops a cognitive development plan within the department to ensure a continued commitment to people, process and organizational capability;
* Leads the prescribed use and improvement of the site/division ERP system;
* Primary coordinator/ focal point for materials management assessment (MMA) and OpA validated and self-assessments as well as owning the materials management related actions plans to close any reported OFI’s;
* Develops core internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative achievement of business metrics;
* Assesses the performance and develops continuous improvement activities and training for self and staff via use of the material management functional competency ladders and MMA results.


Education / Experience required to meet position qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Management or equivalent;
* English level: Advanced;
* Strong experience in supply chain and supply chain planning;
* Having in-depth knowledge of production planning, logistics & import-export;
* Effective communication, leadership skill & management roles in engineering industry;
* Communicates effectively with all management and production personnel, and can quickly and effectively build relationships at all levels;
* Knowledge of ERP Systems;
* Strong analytical skills;
* Ability to manage employees effectively and to forge strong relationships at all levels in organization;
* Strong team player;
* Customer/supplier interaction in a highly demanding environment.

Education / Experience preferred to meet position qualifications:
* Experience in other areas like Lean/Six Sigma and program management.
