Marketing Manager

Job Overview:
Ecolab is currently seeking for Marketing Manager for Food & Beverage Division

Territory / Location Information:
The position will be based in Barra Funda – São Paulo - SP

Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Mindset and Consulting
• Develops long- term Food & Beverage strategic plans and programs while executing in the short term - delivering optimal growth, sales and profits
• Leads strategic planning for the business, including five essentials and strategic imperatives. Seeks senior management approval and resources for strategy implementation
• Responsible for developing and executing the innovation pipeline (using Phase Gate process) for the business, including partnering with R &D and coordinating other functions to develop and launch innovations
• Owns market research including VOB and VOC, size of the market and customer segmentation for the segments within F &B
• Aligns with Corporate Accounts team and Local Commercial Managers customer specific value propositions
• Participate in ongoing customer interactions that contribute to business insights and results
• Develop innovative strategies in response to customer needs, competitive offerings and changes in market and business priorities
• Lead marketing team and implement and educate / teach / consult on core marketing principles (value prop, phase gate, strategic planning, branding, etc)

Achieve Results Working Across Boundaries
• Works effectively in a matrix environment
• Influences without authority, building relationships and developing trust
• Understands how to navigate through the business culture and how to build connections / relationships
• Collaborates and builds alignment between global /regional strategies and Brazil priorities

Brand Champion / Brand Builder
• Understands the components of brand strategy and how to develop campaigns that deliver on the defined brand experience
• Serves as an advocate for the Ecolab brand, modeling behavior and values of Ecolab so employees and customers consistently experience the Ecolab brand

Build and lead effective team
• Plans and develops for succession of self and marketing team
• Provides regular feedback to team members on progress against goals, performance and development plans
• Coaches / educates team on marketing principles and practices

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in marketing, including leadership of a country/market and a segment/product category
  • Proven track record of delivering sales and margin growth results through cross-functional teams
  • Successful experience driving innovation and product launches
  • Experience working in a matrix environment and adapting regional strategies at the local level
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred or equivalent
