Brand Specific Description:

Hotels.com is looking for a talented Business Development Intern to support the LATAM Strategy and Business Development Director in developing and delivering against the 2018 Strategy for LATAM. The Hotels.com LATAM portfolio consists of 21 point of sales for the local brands "Hoteis.com" and "Hoteles.com" with a geographic reach from Mexico all the way down to Argentina.

Position Overview:

The ambition of Hotels.com LATAM is to continue an aggressive growth trajectory across the region and this new role will focus on identifying regional business growth strategies. This role will focus on providing relevant data analysis and executional support for a wide range of strategic projects across Hotels.com LATAM.

Responsibilities:

Key areas of responsibility will include
* Business analysis: e.g. perform analytics deep dives to investigate specific aspects of our business, findings will shape strategic focus
* Industry and competitor analysis: e.g. perform competitive intelligence; industry analysis based on internal and external data sources
* Strategy and business development support: e.g. preparing materials for quarterly strategy reviews, follow-up on strategic initiatives
* Performance measurement: e.g., develop automated reports and dashboards to measure impact of strategic initiatives

Key areas of responsibility will include

Competencies:
* A quick learner and logical thinker, who is able to connect the dots and identify new opportunities
* Strong analytics skills and ability to perform complex data analysis independently; capable of processing large amount of information and extracting relevant insights
* Resourceful and inquisitive, at ease with use of multiple sources to conduct business analysis
* Team player, strong communication and relationship building skills
* Strong interest in eCommerce and the travel industry

Experience and Qualification:
* Prior working experience not required, but a plus
* Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
* Knowledge of Web Analytics tools (e.g. Omniture, Google Analytics) a plus
* Fluent in English, knowledge of Spanish a plus
* 3rd year student of Business, Economics or Engineering with interest in business analytics, strategy and eCommerce

    Prós: Equilíbrio entre vida profissional e pessoal, liberdade para trabalhar em home office, excelentes benefícios (acima do mercado) inclusive para dependentes, nutricionista na empresa, ambiente informal.

    Contras: Falta treinamento e plano de carreira, baixa mobilidade interna, turnover alto, péssimos gestores que desmotivam e muito os funcionários, vagas no exterior só servem para europeus pois os latinos nunca são aprovados.
