This position will run editorial programming of the iTunes Movies Stores for Latin America, based in Sao Paulo / Brazil.
*10+ years of experience on the Brazilian and Latin American movie industry;
*Deep knowledge of the Latin American movies catalogues and history of Cinema. Knowledge of Brazilian and Latin American cinema;
*Confident and well versed in the Movies and Digital Video content space;
*Have an understanding of the Movies market across Latin America;
*Have an eye for ‘the next big thing’ and an understanding of what will sell in the Latin American markets;
*Excellent communication skills to interact with both internal teams and external partners;
*Attention to detail is critical as well as being very organized;
*Ability to see the big picture;
*A hands-on approach to executing projects from start to finish;
*Self-motivated and driven;
*Measure and present the results of featured initiatives to Senior Management.
Acting as a point of contact for local iTunes partners on editorial matters and functioning as a bridge between the partners and the iTunes internal Design, Editorial and Technical Resources in Latin America and the USA.
Weekly programming implementation of the Movie stores, with the objective of maximizing the revenue from the available content and supporting the editorial voice.
Build an independent editorial strategy for iTunes and decide editorial priorities for the iTunes Movie stores, taking into account release and broadcast dates, partner promotions, etc.
Making sure the editorial voice of iTunes is always strong and well balanced between innovative promotions and quality releases, as well as meeting our customers' expectations when they are visiting the store.
Responsibility for co-ordinating the delivery and launch of content through National and International partners.
Research sales/customer activity using iTunes reporting tools to refine editorial selection on a weekly basis.
Editorial support for the development of an strategic business growth plan for our Movies business in Latin America, working with our providers on developing promotions, new release strategies and on-going plans for the store.
Manage the growth of the overall business by executing comprehensive and innovative promotions around key releases.
