Latam Diagnostics is comprised by approximately 1460 employees in over 9 countries, generating over 670 million CHF in Sales. Due to rapid changes in the diagnostics market this new and strategic role as International Key Account Manager has been created. In this position you are building the regional key account management (KAM) strategy and structures and you are leading negotiations with international lab chains in Latin America, all aligned with the EMEA LATAM strategic framework. You are working closely together with your internal network of local key account managers and numerous regional and global stakeholders. The position can be based in any country in Latin America.

Your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Define the KAM strategy for the region in collaboration with various internal stakeholders, drive implementation and set sales and profit targets
* Develop a strategic approach for pricing and negotiation and plan and lead international negotiations with key customers. Advocate for the greater good of Roche when it comes to different interests e.g. in pricing or customer expectations
* Build sustainable and long-term relationships with international C-level stakeholders and effectively manage internal stakeholders at all levels
* Identify, anticipate and proactively address challenges for e.g. in market dynamics, regulations and M&A
* Act as an agile leader (in the matrix) and change agent, challenging and reshaping the way we sell our solutions and manage relationships
* Manage talent development and succession management for key account management in the region

To be successful in this role you bring the following qualifications:
* University degree or equivalent, preferably in business management. MBA and/or post-graduation is desired
* Experience in sales, marketing or finance positions and strong experience in key account management
* Proven experience in commercial processes (deal preparation incl. calculation, deal approvals, commercial clauses, contract life cycle management) and tackling of commercial risks
* Sound knowledge of latin american healthcare market, IVD know-how is a plus
* Outstanding stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills at all levels
* Strong analytical, strategic thinking and conceptual competencies
* Proven leadership capabilities in a matrix and international environment
* Fluent english and spanish. Portuguese desired
* Prepared to travel frequently (~40% of time)
