Internal Audit is currently seeking an outgoing and goal-oriented professional who is excited to learn and share best practices throughout the many businesses of Archer Daniels Midland Company.

** Main activities:**

  • The initial focus is to be a strong contributor of the global audit team, with focus on the South American region, while learning business objectives, risks to meeting objectives, and controls to mitigate those risks. Within a brief period of time, this role will develop solid knowledge of company processes, and lead highly effective teams on complex assignments;
  • Project work can include reviewing activities related to any operations within ADM’s value chain, including crop origination, manufacturing, sales, transportation, and nutrition, as well as supporting and governance functions such as accounting, compliance, shared services, and mergers and acquisitions. This role offers broad exposure to ADM’s operations, continued growth within Internal Audit, and experience that is valued if career goals include moving into other areas of the business or other geographies;
  • Internal Audit’s role is to assist ADM management by providing independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the organization’s operations. This is achieved by utilizing a systematic and disciplined approach to evaluate and improve effectiveness of our organization's risk management, control, and governance processes.

** Job Requirements:**

  • Fluent English and Portuguese skills are required. Spanish and other foreign languages are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related fields
  • Two or more years of Internal or External Audit, Accounting or other relevant experience with both assurance and consulting experience showing increased responsibility
  • Must be willing and able to achieve Certified Internal Auditor designation within 2 years
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrates leadership skills and ability to make decisions independently
  • Demonstrates the highest level of integrity and ethical leadership through example, and is committed to developing the team members into future leaders.
  • Desire and ability to work with IT tools, data analytics and continuous monitoring
  • Proven experience in identifying areas of improvement
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to breakdown complex problems
  • Aptitude to balance multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
  • Ability to successfully work through conflicts, and work in an global team environment
  • Interest and ability to learn the agriculture industry, commodity trading, and basic geometry
  • Up to 50% travel to ADM facilities, including international travel

    Prós: O ambiente de trabalho e muito agradavel. o respeito e mútuo em todos os departamentos. temos todas as condições de desempenhar nossas atribuições. transparencia e um fator que contribui muito para o bom andamento das atividades.

    Contras: O acordo coletivo de reajuste salarial demora as vezes a ser decidido. não sei se é por parte da gestao de rh ou se de algum orgão publico essa demora, mas sei que demora. apesar de não ser uma obrigação da empresa, em outras localidades da o ticket alimentação é bem melhor. o beneficio de auxilio educacional foi extinguido, seria interessante se voltasse.
