Job Description:

This position is part of the Global Financial Operations team, based in São Paulo, Brazil. The Inbound Collections Agent (ICA) is mainly responsible for providing finance-related support through inbound telephone and e-mail systems. We are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual with professional customer service skills, who carries a positive attitude.

As an ICA you will support the Latin America Market (LATAM), being contacted by partners via phone, chat and e-mail, to support payment information queries, adjustment requests, and any other financial related theme questions, asking for help from the collectors for more complex cases, while educating partners on the benefits of partnering with us. This position requires an organized team player with good communication and language skills.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receive inbound calls, chat requests and e-mails, supporting the partners on financial type related queries
  • Communicate with Expedia partners in various countries as required
  • Effectively cooperate with internal partners to establish a strong Expedia Inc. Team
  • Utilize various applications and tools such as SalesForce, SideTrade, EPC and the Microsoft Suite of products
  • Meet departmental standards and KPIs
  • Perform outbound communication through e-mail and/or telephone when required

Preferred qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish
  • Detail-oriented, organized, efficient and able to multi-task
  • Positive attitude, goal-oriented and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Customer Service and Call Center experience is a plus
