Head of Diversity and Inclusion

Description

  • Obtain a deep understanding of diversity challenges in locales in which we operate, leveraging research, partnerships with consultants and relationships in the industry.
  • Develop strategies to educate populations on current conversations around Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), including worldwide best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase representation of underrepresented groups at all levels in the company.
  • Collaborate with our hiring team on strategies to foster diversity on our recruitment processes.
  • Collaborate with our HRBPs and Compensation teams to foster diversity initiatives in our performance management and compensation processes.
  • Collaborate with the training team to design a training program focused on various D&I topics, including but not limited to unconscious bias training
  • In partnership with the diversity guilds, design and implement diversity initiatives, including but not limited to the creation and formalization of Employee Resource Groups.
  • Determine data to collect and analyze that will measure the impact of our actions on reducing the gaps related to diversity
  • Partner with leaders to address potential issues related to underrepresented groups, fostering diversity within their chapter through specific plans aligned with their objectives
  • Advocate and drive partnerships to advance Nubank's diversity efforts – inclusive of community outreach both locally and globally, including identifying conferences to sponsor and events to host
  • Partner with our marketing/PR team to communicate our initiatives to external and internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Solid experience with D&I management in workplace
  • Hands-on experience designing company policies, programs, trainings and/or initiatives related to D&I
  • Good knowledge of labor and human right legislation
  • Strong problem-solving, data driven and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication skills and able to communicate effectively in English
  • Degree in business/economics, HR management, social science or other related fields, or equivalent experience
