Latam Diagnostics is comprised by approximately 1460 employees in over 9 countries, generating over 670 million CHF in Sales. As the Head of Business Development & Commercial Excellence you will provide strategic guidance and consulting to develop key disease markets, new segments and new business models in the Latam region. Furthermore you will enable solid execution by articulating the support require from Medical & Market Access for the development areas and guarantee solid and targeted training to our sales and marketing teams to achieve commercial excellence capitalizing opportunities in new segments, disease areas and new business models. In this highly strategic and challenging role you are managing a team of 14 people. Based out of Sao Paulo, Brazil, you are reporting directly to the regional Head of Latam Diagnostics.

Your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Together with the Latam leadership team developing the 3-5 year strategic framework, business plans & prioritization to define focus areas for each year, business line, market and disease
* Leading the business development team (Business Leads and Market Development Managers) to drive successful execution of the business plans enabling affiliates for agile execution and supporting the creation of require capabilities
* Identifying, developing and articulating key business opportunities impacting bottom line results supported by a strong medical and access vision and plan
* Ensuring comprehensive, structured and effective execution through medical, access, marketing, sales and service coordinated activities supported by state of the art training and marketing services to guarantee commercial results
* You guarantee commercial effectiveness by impactful product launches and commercial readiness for commercialization of innovation
* Leading the international accounts strategic planning and articulating a one voice approach and alignment of commercial teams around defined goals

To be successful in this role the following qualifications are required:
* University degree (MSc/MBA), preferably in Healthcare or Management related areas
* Proven experience in leading sales, marketing or business development departments in the healthcare/IVD industry, including P&L responsibility and budget management
* Previous general management experience is a plus as well as experience in sales effectiveness and key account management
* Excellent leadership skills (directly and in the matrix), role model for Roche leadership commitments and Roche values
* Strong communication skills, including negotiating and influencing. Simplifying and articulating complex information at the right level of detail depending on the audience and topic
* Rock solid strategic thinking and high business acumen. Ability to define medium-long term strategic plan while delivering on short term results and quick wins
* Fluent in English. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus
* Ability to travel frequently (~40% of time)

    Contras: Falta de proximidade entre as áreas, o que muitas vezes faz com que tornem-se ilhas, difícil promoção as áreas já que há pouca rotatividade de colaboradores. Não há benefício de 13° salário para estagiários.
