FP&A Project Manager / TM1 Lead

The professional applying for this role will have a temporary responsibility
as FP&A Project Manager (<6 months) following a transition to the position of
Regional COE System Lead.

Reporting to the Finance FP&A Project Lead, the FP&A Project Manager is
responsible for managing effective project control processes and for
partnering with team members to successfully deploy FP&A technology solution
in Latin America for both Pharm and Medical Devices sector.

Key Activities:
 Partner with Finance lead to deliver final project objectives balancing
schedule/resources/quality/scope/funding/risks
 Owns the local project timeline & schedule
 All milestones & key deliverables
 All key handoffs to/from deliverables owners (in region & global) –
Functional/process/data/build/testing/training
 Resourcing capacities/assignments aligned with responsible leads
 Dynamically calculated from task durations & predecessors
 Frequently updated/enhanced based on regular inputs/scrutiny/discussions
with deliverables leads/owners
 Assesses/aligns with deliverables owners to ensure that appropriate tactical
schedules/action plans are in place
 Proactively analyzes the project schedule & other data – Ensure the project
stays on track, alternate scenario, etc.
 Collaborates with global PMO & other leads to ensure cross-project
interdependencies are exposed & aligned
 Implements & manages RAID log with core team & extended teams –
Risks/Actions/Issues/Decisions
 Risk management – Analyzes possible risks, aligns mitigation with core team,
adds/tracks appropriate mitigations in the schedule
 Manages project change control process/controls
 Synthesizes project status/issues/risks; reviews & aligns with core team
weekly
 Summarizes project status/issues/risks; reviews with global PMO team weekly

The Regional COE Systems Lead is responsible for the planning, management and
implementation of simple to complex project plans in their designated region.
The primary responsibility of the Systems Lead is to work collaboratively
across all levels in providing first level of application support and
maintenance for finance applications in the region. This includes
responsibilities related to Data Governance, systems enhancements, report
testing, etc. The Systems Lead will build relationships with numerous
individuals within the Operating Companies as software and system
implementations are managed. To be successful with these efforts, the Lead
must demonstrate the Leadership Imperative qualities of Connect, Shape, and
Deliver.

The Lead must empower the Systems Senior Analysts to act with speed, agility
and accountability in delivering work products in line with the strategic
vision of ES&P. The Lead will also be responsible for coaching, providing
feedback and developing the necessary system related skills of the analysts.
The Lead’s core understandings of finance applications as well as the ability
to engagement in transparent and constructive conversations with individuals
internal and external to the COE will be imperative to the team’s success.

The Lead will work with the Business (BUF, CoE, BU, etc) to identify system
updates needed including: Allocation rule changes, completing upload
templates, determining when planning cycles need to be turned on/off, leading
data investigations, etc. The actual execution of these changes/updates to the
TM1 environment will be executed by the Tech CoE based on the guidance from
the Systems Lead.

Key Activities:
• Driving FP&A data integrity and data quality, including but not limited to
extensive data reconciliations and root cause analysis
• Overall coordination of systems timelines including opening/closing of
planning cycles, master data updates, Bravo submission, etc.
• Identifying solutions to support business needs and partnering with Finance
leaders to execute plans for implementation
• Resourcing teams to execute project plans
• Implementation of governance model and support plan for sustainment of
solutions
• Ensuring systems and applications are kept current with scheduled upgrades
and maintenance in collaboration with Global Tech deployment team

Qualificações

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

TM1 knowledge
MS Office;
Leadership skills
Strong Communication skills (both oral and written)
Finance background with experience in FP&A
Project management skills
Fluent English
Basic Spanish
MS Project is a plus

Preferred qualifications
• Experience working with regional / multi-cultural teams.
• Significant financial accounting, planning & reporting experience –
operational and/or system deployments
