Apple is looking for a collaborative, highly organized professional for the position of EHS Manager to develop and implement EHS programs for our business operations in Brazil, including Corp. offices and Retail stores. The ideal candidate will have a professional working knowledge of local occupational heath and safety requirements, industrial hygiene controls, chemical safety management and environmental compliance requirements. This position will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of compliance programs with a dynamic team.
*Minimum 5 years of professional EHS experience;

*Ability to manage multiple high priority project simultaneously;
Develop and direct programs that drive compliance with corporate EHS goals and objectives;
Champion organizational compliance through the evaluation of workplace environments, equipment, and processes with a focus on continuous improvement;
Support the development and implementation of the safety/health portion of eSocial;
Develop and maintain a comprehensive H&S risk management program;
Support CIPA for the country in partnership with all stakeholders;
Define solutions that integrate corporate EHS policy into local facility operations;
* Partner with Development, Preservation, Facility, HR/ER and Store/Corporate Leadership to develop and implement EHS policies, procedures and standards;
* Manage the process for reporting, investigating and communicating accidents, hazards and concerns;
* Support store with emergency response preparation, including training and drills;
* Develop and implement training for all personnel to assure understanding of environmental health and safety programs;
Maintain positive relationships with EHS regulatory agencies for the facilities and manage permits, regulatory inspections, incident reporting and other aspects of program documentation as required;
Provide insight and advice on meeting the requirements of H&S for existing and emerging businesses;
Actively involve in fire safety related requirements;
Engage and collaborate with business partners to gain cross-functional support and leverage initiatives across divisions, including facilities, design and construction, security, procurement, legal, and human resources;
Will include periodic international travel to other Apple locations in ALAC region.
