The Micro-Region Lead role will own overall accountability for driving EFM
regional capabilities within a select group of assigned facilities and
outsourcing partners. This position serves as a single point of accountability
and is responsible for delivering quality, safe, compliant, and productive
workplace environments—across each site within a micro-region—with a high-
touch customer service orientation. The role is responsible for delivering
facilities maintenance operations, infrastructure management, and onsite
employee and business services across manufacturing and / or non-manufacturing
environments. This position reports directly into Sub-Regional Lead and is
accountable for efficient delivery of site services, maintenance and utilities
operations, project delivery, move services, and all facilities operations,
utilizing an effective balance of internal employees and service providers.
The Micro-Region Lead will oversee multiple sites that fall within the
applicable micro-region. LATAM will be Argentina and Brazil. Key relationships
include managing complex coordination with outsourced vendors to ensure
successful implementation and management of the program as well as
establishing clear lines of engagement with business customers, Regional and
Sub-Regional EFM leadership, COE Organization, and select key Support Partners
(e.g., Finance, IT, HR, and / or Procurement) to drive consistency and high
quality across all sites within Micro-Region
Drive EFM regional capabilities within select group of assigned sites. Serve
as single point of contact to deliver quality, safe, compliant and productive
workplace across each site within micro-region. Manage complex relationships
with outsourcing partners at site level
Interface with business units and contractors during planning / construction
as needed. Serve as primary site liaison for EHSS compliance (as appropriate).
Establish high performance, continuous improvement culture driven by key
performance metrics, benchmarking, and sharing of best practices. Implement
business continuity plans and infrastructure management programs. Support
Project Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure projects.
Ensure compliance with external and internal requirements across all sites
within micro-region. Ensure sites are in compliance with good commercial,
laboratory and manufacturing practices, and other regulations
Attend customer and EFM micro-region level governance forums where required.
Assist with inspections on in-micro-region facilities, as needed. Execute
strategy set forth by the Center of Excellence across a complex portfolio.
Champion and increase focus on coordination of facilities within micro-region.
Provide consistency and visibility across supply chain and non-supply chain
Establish and enforce methodologies to generate savings and optimize the
business while deepening the regional focus.
Deliver value and efficiency by championing standardized best practices and
spearheading execution within a designated micro-region. Support Project
Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure projects
A minimum of a Bachelors Degree, in Architect, Engineer, Administration.
Generally requires 5-8 years related experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business,
Architecture, etc. or equivalent, is required. Master’s degree in related
field, or equivalent, is preferred
Minimum 8 years facilities management/ real state experience or equivalent is
required. Certifications (e.g., MCR, SLCR, etc.) are preferred
Fluent in English, Advanced or intermedium in Spanish preferred
Good management and strong technical skills are required
Demonstrated knowledge in technical and business disciplines is required
Documented success achieving project goals is required
Strong record of local collaboration ensuring completion of projects and
people development is required
Strong communication skills both written and oral are required
Budget/financial management skills are preferred
Ability to coordinate within sites of varying size, complexity, and needs with
agility and excellence
Ability to focus strategically while maintaining a tactical focus is required
Ability to adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations is required
Ability to lead diverse teams through change and organizational transformation
Computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office suite, are required

Travel: Yes, 25%-50 % of the Time´- domestic and/or international travel
