ADP Labs. Located in Porto Alegre/Brazil, provides software development and infrastructure for world-wide ADP products, working with large scale initiatives across multiple geographies, including Brazil, United States and India. As an internationally distributed software development team, we are hiring:

Software Developer II

This mid-level software developer needs to understand and translate business needs into system scope and objectives. He will devise or modify procedures to solve problems using information systems, preparing detailed specifications from which programs will be written and designed, coded, tested and debugged.

* Programming: Competent to work on simple to fairly complex programming assignments.
* Analysis / Design: Competent to work on simple analysis/design assignments.
* Technical / Project Leadership: Very occasional technical guidance provided to other Software Development Engineers.
* Contact (Internal & External): Interacts with other project team members most of the time. Occasionally may interact with other technical and developmental groups in other international locations.
* Experience: Experience as a programmer with progressive programming and analysis.
* Communication Skills: Low to medium capacity to interact with other teams. Read and write English skills.
* Education: Incomplete BS in Computer Science OR technical training equivalent OR an equivalent in education and experience required.
* Behavioral Competencies: Good team player. Demonstrates alignment with the organization's values and success factors.
* Desired Technical Skills: Good Expertise in Progress, WebSpeed, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX. Knowledge of Web Based Programming and Relational Database. Enthusiast about agile methodologies as Scrum and Test Driven Development.

    Contras: A empresa está investindo em cultura de excelencia, porém estas competências ainda não são inerentes aos colaboradores. Ainda existe uma orientação (cada vez menor) entre áreas em isenção de culpa, e não em orientação a resolução dos problemas dos clientes.
