Join Ecolab’s industry leading Food & Beverage team as an Account Manager. We are increasing food safety and product quality, enhancing sustainability and boosting operational efficiency. We provide cleaning and sanitation solutions to food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing environments through a dual focus on sales and technical service/consultation to new and existing customers. As strong business partners, Ecolab works with customers to develop sanitation plans and programs, evaluate processes and procedures, troubleshoot technical issues and identify and implement operational efficiencies.

What You Will Do:

  • Build a solid understanding of Ecolab products, customer plant operations and business objectives, and applicable government regulations.
  • Develop strategic work plans for completing sales targets and service/consultation calls with new and existing customers.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative products, equipment and services.
  • Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of sanitation, safety, quality and operations; including assisting with sanitation plans and programs, standard operating procedures, evaluating processes and procedures, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, and employee training.
  • Manage Ecolab products and equipment; participate in equipment installations, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventory and place orders.
  • Implement agreed upon corporate account commitments and proactively inform Corporate Account Manager (CAM’s) of results, challenges and initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff; build strong business relationships and networks
  • Follow Ecolab safety guidelines and incident reporting requirements.

Position Details:

  • Route territory will include: Goiânia/ GO.
  • Comprehensive benefits packages in line with market and industry standards.
  • Training involving a combination of classroom and on the job with periodic assessments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in dairy, food or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry.
  • 2 years technical sales experience in either the: meat, processed food, dairy, and poultry sector or the beverage and brewing sector.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Willingness and ability to travel by car throughout territory, including periodic overnight travel, could be required to be on-call during off-work hours and weekends when needed.
  • Immigration sponsorship to work in the country is not available for this role.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions and be able to perform the essential duties of the position.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to sell value-added products to customers.
  • Carry aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multi-national customers
  • General mechanical ability.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.

    Contras: Falta de oportunidades de se expressar, percebo também que os cargos de chefia maior São ofertados na maioria das vezes pra pessoas do Sul ou Sudeste ou que tenham proximidade com os chefes

    Conselhos para presidência: Valorizar mais os funcionários de cargos menores dando oportunidades de crescimento á todos e não só aos mais próximos das regiões Sul e sudeste.. há ótimos profissionais nas demais regiões do Brasil.

    Contras: Gestão de pessoas a distância, pois trabalhamos em territórios diferentes de nossos superiores. Estratégia de mercado. Programas customizados atendendo somente a demanda de contas corporativas, sendo que para contas regionais fica deficiente.
