** Description**
* Sells a subset of Oracle Retail products or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory.
* Oracle Retail has the #1 portfolio of end-to-end solutions for retailers in the marketplace according to analysts.
* Oracle has the #1 retailers in Brazil already using our solutions and the opportunity to grow is significant.
* Oracle Retail solutions is flexible enough and with a great partner network to be able to go to almost any market segment.
* The solutions is leader worldwide in a all retail market sub segments.
* Primary job duty is to sell Retail business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers.
* Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
* Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.
* Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition.
* Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
* Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
* Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in Retail.
** Profile / Background:**
* Strong Sales experience, including solid background developing retail market.
* Successful sales track record.
* Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts.
* Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors.
* Interaction with C level players.
* Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills.
* Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers.
* The ASR will get a portfolio between 15 and 30 accounts of a mix of Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 retailers in the Sao Paulo metropolitan area.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large
number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly
Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and
related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through
forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application.
Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition.
Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and
develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and
mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the
application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8
years applicable experience including 7 years of sales experience. Successful
sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders
within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors.
Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal
/communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with
prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.

    Prós: Nenhum aspecto positivo. Infraestrutura de trabalho com softwares de produtividade ruins, ambiente de cobrança extremo e hostil com as pessoas, falta de ética no dia a dia marcam os anos que fiquei na Oracle.

    Contras: A empresa é obcecada por vendas, forecast, etc... Vendas a qualquer custo. E de certa maneira se orgulha disso. Não há o mínimo planejamento estratégico que comunique para as pessoas onde a empresa está e para onde vai. Não há transparência nem sentido de pertencimento de grupo. Apenas silos isolados que competem entre si por cada centavo do cliente.

    Conselhos para presidência: Para mim a empresa deveria repensar a cultura e PRATICA-LA no dia a dia - e não apenas no discurso. A empresa fala que muda a cultura, mas não aplica em seus corredores. A pressão por resultados a qualquer custo pode ser substituída por uma pressão na medida adequada e apoio que as pessoas realmente precisam para fazer suas metas.

    Prós: É uma empresa para aprender muito, te tira da zona de conforto, é self service, te dá possibilidades de crescimento, benefícios, bons salários e peso no currículo

    Contras: É a empresa com processos internos muitas vezes lentos e complexos (típico de empresas grandes), há muita concorrência interna e muita politicagem.

    Conselhos para presidência: Eliminem o problema de concorrência interna. Ao invés disso, estimulem o trabalho em equipe!!!!
